“A question that puzzles me: most rational folks also understand that our climate is warming. Why has there been no rational study of the actual risks of said warming?”

The answer to your question is because if we study the actual risks, the fraudulent system would be exposed and the house of green cards would collapse. Follow the money and you will find the answer. Many people play the game, Joseph Robinette Biden has mastered the game, as we have seen over the past few years.

Alex Epstein has a Substack and a few books about how Homo sapiens have adapted to the natural world and the danger it presents. He sticks to the facts and is not aggressive in his approach.

Thanks for the book recommendation, I’ll check it out.

Sometimes I marvel at the simplicity of the answer when you ask the right questions.

Very well written piece, ma'am. Thank you. For additional information on mining, not only lithium but copper, rare earths, and other minerals, I would recommend to you and your readers Ernest Scheyders' book, "The War Below."

A question that puzzles me: most rational folks also understand that our climate is warming. Why has there been no rational study of the actual risks of said warming? Homo sapiens is one of the most adaptable species ever to evolve. Why is it necessary for that species to have a stable climate? Likewise, most rational folks understand that energy is the foundation for all measures taken to mitigate climate risks. Why then do we deliberately constrain that energy to offset a risk that is not yet fully understood?

Madam Curie said that "nothing in life is to be feared, it is only to be understood. Now is the time to understand more, so that we may fear less." I don't think anyone has described the climate crisis more succinctly than these words. Why then are our policies based on fear rather than gaining understanding.

I'll definitely bookmark that read. I have a Goodreads account, and am an avid reader.

You pose a great question. It's not a debate about climate changing- it changes naturally and we do adapt. But those who've led environmental causes assume humans are bad and we must make sacrifices in the name of climate, etc.

The left succeeded with fearmongering on climate/energy issues until recently. Fear breeds hypocrisy by rulemakers who don't abide by their rules, more wateful spending allocations, and doomsday predictions never panning out.

I disagree about us being in a climate crisis. There's more greenery now, emissions are down here in the U.S., and there's more wildlife now and new species being discovered.

One can be sure: the climate has been changing for millennia... Humankind's role is a tiny sliver in time.
