Glad you’re fighting on this Gabriella. Sally and I were just at Yosemite yesterday and we’ve been driving through redwood forests all this week. The idea of selling off any of our protected lands like this is offensive. There’s no justification for it whatsoever.
I agree 100% you don't fix a spending problem by selling something so you can continue your ridiculous spending. Plus, that land is best utilized as it is. It's a terrible thing to spend government resources on "affordable housing". We've seen it time and again. The right way to fix that is again back to reigning in the spending and then the deficit and debt reduce and the interest rate normalizes making it attainable for the average person to own a home. Then continue to make the USA business friendly to bring manufacturing back to make jobs available for those willing to work for it. Government subsidized housing is throwing money out the window and it's not something our government is supposed to be doing.
