Texas A&M Kicks Off Speaking Tour
I kicked off my spring 2023 speaking tour at Texas A&M this past week and with great success. Despite the rain, nearly 20 students were in attendance - which is a decent turnout.
I spoke to the Turning Point USA group about conservation meshing with conservatism and how they aren’t mutually exclusive. It’s a topic I’ve been lecturing about for a couple years. And I’m just getting started.

Aurora in Virginia
Aurora borealis in Virginia? Yes, you read that that! It happened last night…
This phenomenon last occurred in 2017. Capital Weather Gang described the event as follows:
Auroras are created during geomagnetic storms when energy and particles from the sun temporarily disturb Earth’s magnetosphere. Some particles travel along Earth’s magnetic field lines into the upper atmosphere, where they excite oxygen and nitrogen molecules and release photons of light. Sometimes, intense geomagnetic storms can interfere and disrupt satellite operations or GPS communications.
The colors of an aurora are determined by the altitude and type of molecule that is excited. Excited oxygen molecules typically glow red above 120 miles, and green glows occur between 75 and 110 miles.
