It was announced this evening that conservative author and lecturer, David Horowitz, passed away at age 86 after a long battle with cancer. Per his Freedom Center:
Here’s the famous exchange between Horowitz and Jumanah-Imad Albahri, the now infamous UCSD Muslim Student Association member.
Since I was the primary organizer of his speech at my alma mater, I had the opportunity to introduce him.
Mr. Horowitz’s life trajectory was fascinating. Born a Red Diaper Baby, Mr. Horowitz became a prominent figure in the New Left movement. After becoming disillusioned with the cause, he later repudiated the communists he associated with and turned right-ward. He later became a sought-after conservative speaker and lecturer.
I’m grateful to Mr. Horowitz for coming to my campus nearly 15 years ago and giving my classmates with a dose of reality about anti-Semitism and anti-Israelism.
RIP. May his memory be a blessing.
RIP And God’s peace be with his family & friends.
