I Testified Before the Kansas Legislature on Property Rights
On Wednesday, I testified before the 2023 Special Committee on Foreign Adversary Investments and Land Purchases in the Kansas state legislature on the need to safeguard private property rights.
Three points I touched on:
How adversarial nations that don’t respect property rights, namely China, are purchasing ag/ranch land at an alarming rate
How ESG principles are creeping into rulemaking and legislation at the expense of property rights
How crony capitalist corporations are intent of undermining land ownership

Thank you Gabriella. All over the Magic Valley in Idaho the land grab is going on. Both Public Lands and agricultural land. Some farmers are forced to sell because of the economy or they don’t have heirs that want to work the land. With the purchase of irrigated agricultural land you get water rights. When billionaires can control our country’s economy we are in trouble.
