Thanks for reading my SHOT Show 2022 interviews and tuning to my Florida State speech coverage!
For you newbies out there, welcome to Outsider on the Inside. I hope this dispatch from in and around the nation’s capital on underreported topics finds you well.
If you’re just discovering my musings, here’s a backgrounder.
Young Voices Regional Leaders Program
I’ve been accepted into the Young Voices’ Regional Leaders Program representing the Mid-Atlantic and Northeastern U.S.
In this expanded capacity, I’ll continue my existing writing commitments—plus my newly-added speaking and commentary obligations— in their Alumni Tracks since I completed the Contributors Program in December 2021.
The Regional Leaders Program comprises a cohort of five representatives in the Northeast, South, West, Midwest, and Northwest. It’s a new initiative that’ll allow Young Voices “to reach more local and statewide media and policy organizations than ever before.” The goal of the program is to have them break into new markets , where contributors like me can “influence policy and culture on the local level, shifting the Overton Window in favor of liberty in those areas.”
In this expanded role, I’ll act as a main point of contact for “universities, think tanks, and media outlets across” in my designated region(s).
Moreover:
The Regional Leaders will recruit new writers, coordinate events and opportunities in their region, and pitch writers on our roster in their area to state and local media outlets.
If you are interested in the Young Voices Contributor Program and we cross paths, I’ll do my best to recruit you or help you get considered should you express an interest.
