Good morning,
Here’s a special Inauguration Day-themed Angling Right dispatch I wanted to repost here. If you aren’t subscribed to my other Substack, remedy that today.
I, for one, won’t miss the Biden-Harris administration.
Good riddance. I wish I could get these four years back.
I won’t miss the constant gaslighting, wokeism, and destructive whole-of-government policies.
Biden did all but unite the country. Our global standing is weaker thanks to his policies. He put questionable climate posturing above developing reliable energy. And government grew at record-level rates, while small businesses and individuals were ruthlessly squeezed and diminished. And so on.
I am, however, cautiously optimistic about the Trump-Vance administration. Will there be certain things I oppose under Trump 2.0? Absolutely. You can’t 100% agree with politicians on everything. Nor should we.
What I know is this: Life for the majority Americans will improve under a second Trump administration. Low taxation and spending reforms are expected. Prices and crime will go down. There will be deregulation that doesn’t despoil the environment. And let’s hope the tariff talk is just talk and not official policy.
Continue to follow this Substack for a bird’s eye view into the new administration. I’ll have many work updates on Trump’s energy actions at IWF this week. Go here to follow them.
Have a great week!
I wrote today about the similarities between the Golden Age and the Gilded Age. How yesterday we could celebrate the champion of advancement or the champion of the downtrodden. I too am cautiously optimistic. I’ve seen several iterations of Republican majority / conservative messiahs in the last 45 years. None of them were pretty.
What a great way to we express your feelings on the "Joe Bite Me" administration.
Thank you
