Talk about an oxymoron. But alas, such a coalition, albeit a small one, exists.
Who are the Republicans the Harris campaign is touting? Are they players in the current GOP, or are they out of flavor with conservatism? See for yourself:
Trump White House officials Stephanie Grisham and Olivia Troye; former Secretaries Chuck Hagel and Ray LaHood; former Governors Jim Edgar, Bill Weld, and Christine Todd Whitman; former U.S. House members Rod Chandler, Tom Coleman, Dave Emery, Wayne Gilchrest, Jim Greenwood, Adam Kinzinger, John LeBoutillier, Susan Molinari, Jack Quinn, Denver Riggleman, Claudine Schneider, Christopher Shays, Peter Smith, Alan Steelman, David Trott, and Joe Walsh; and former GOP State Chair and State Senator Chris Vance, among others.
I’m well-traveled in conservative circles and let me say: none of these aforementioned people register as current players in the GOP or conservative movement et al. Most are Never Trumpers affiliated with the Bulwark, Lincoln Project, or other “conservative” entities that champion progressives. At best, they know how to garner attention and favor with certain mainstream media outlets. But they are hardly conservative.
Don’t get me wrong: I have some major qualms with the National Conservatism wing of the GOP today, but I stay and fight to ensure traditional conservatism remains a core principle. I dislike it when Trump attacks good governors that have endorsed him or when he gets off script. There are some policies I disagree with and bite my tongue on.
As a conservative, I was surprised the first Trump term actually enacted some superb conservative policy—especially in labor, energy, conservation, and other issues I care about. He proved me wrong. There’s no question when and if Trump hires and retains the right people - not grifters - we can see an actual conservative agenda unleashed again. That I know going into his third run for President.
Can the same be said of Kamala Harris? No. She’s a Green New Deal co-sponsor, radical pro-abortionist, PRO Act (anti-right-to-work/anti-freelancer) backer, and further to the Left than socialist Bernie Sanders. And her campaign website contains no policy positions.
Her policies - including her price gouging proposal - are so extreme, even the Washington Post called her plan “communist.”
As a conservative and anti-communist, it’s antithetical to support a ticket that champions this and other central-planning positions. Hard pass from me!
It needs to be reiterated: There’s NO conservative case for Kamala Harris to be made.
Nada. Zip. Zilch.

the prospect of a Harris/Walz presidency scares the hell out of me, for a wide variety of reasons. That said, I think she (if that is her preferred pronoun) will win simply because I believe there are more men who hate Trump than there are women who hate Harris. You are obviously an exception, but there are five men in my family, three who hate Trump, and only one of five women hate Harris.
