Good afternoon,

A Grand Time on the Jersey Shore
After filming in New England, we drove down to the Jersey Shore near Atlantic City to complete our NJ leg of the film trip.
Our new friend Katie Finnegan graciously hosted us at her lovely abode in Brigantine Beach. While there, we had two furry roommates - Fletcher the lab and Winnie the cream golden retriever - who loved on us too much.
My only taste of the Jersey Shore didn’t come from the namesake reality TV show, but from a brief visit to Long Branch in Monmouth County in the northern end.
We primarily stayed in Brigantine, visited Cape May, and drove through Atlantic City. Here’s a snapshot of where we visited.
My videographer Madison also performed at Mission Cafe in town. Here’s her breakout single “You or the Whiskey.”
At the tail end of our stay, we did a whale whaling trip aboard the Cape May Whale Watcher. Bottlenose dolphins were all we could muster, but it was a fantastic day on the water. The $50 price point was reasonable. Guests are treated to a well-rounded tour on the local marine life, history of Cape May, and much more.
For a post-boat trip, we headed to Willow Creek Winery a couple miles away. It’s renowned for their famous Dole Whip Sangrias. Let me say: the drink definitely lived up to the hype.
Our final night topped off with this beautiful sunset.
On the drive back home, we also sojourned through Lewes Beach, DE to beat the Memorial Day traffic and eventually made our way back to Virginia.
