1,500 Subscribers & First Virginia Board Meeting

Today, I hit another Substack milestone: 1,500 subscribers.

I don’t take this lightly. I’m grateful to all of your who read this dispatch, with its occasional imperfections, and to the Substackers out there who’ve recommended “Outsider on the Inside” to their large audiences.

Energy and natural resources issues aren’t the sexiest topics out there. But they are deserving of coverage, attention, and nuance. I’m thrilled many of you equally care and engage here on these topics.

And speaking of conservation, I participated in my first Virginia Land Conservation Foundation (VLCF) Board of Trustee meeting down in Richmond, Virginia, this week. This is the board appointment I received on behalf of the Youngkin administration representing the 8th Congressional District.
